Default WTB: Martin 000-MMV

The title says it.

I'm looking for a used Martin 000-MMV.

I'm not overly concerned about some nicks or scuffs as long as it doesn't look like it's been through a war.

I'm more concerned that it plays and sounds good. No dead spots, fret buzz, or excessive fret wear and no crazy mods.

Thanks

Would you be interested in a dreadnought MMV that is only a few months old, minty, and projects fantastic?

Think your best bet would be to look at Guitar Center's used inventory. Might be willing to ship one to your local store for a tryout. Pretty sure I saw one or two last time I surfed their used stuff.

I've seen the 2 used MMV's on the GC site. I was trying to avoid paying shipping and sales tax of 8.25% here in TX.

The one in SF is recent but 1500/1619.99= 92.59%. I'm not buying a technically "used" guitar off CL for nearly 93% of a new one even if I did use Paypal.

But, I do appreciate the info !

Default 000mmv

These are hard to find used, even rare on eBay.

That may be correct Freebird.

When I was young and looking for my first car (used) I talked to my Dad about one. He told me that there are plenty of those for sale and there must be a reason everyone is selling them. He said, and I'm paraphrasing here, "you want the car almost no one sells". You know, the "keepers" that don't break down, don't have problems, they're dependable.

So, maybe a used 000-MMV being hard to find is a good thing.

Still looking.

Anyone go to NAMM and play the Martin 000RS25 ? It is made in Mexico.
If so is it similar to the 000-MMV or the 000RSGT?
