Love the way you keep time by slapping those strings.

Hi Steve,
you are really great in recognizing Miks....
You are quite close - what you see is a EV PL76b (condenser) - I think I bought it in the mid/end 80th.
But it still sounds fantastic - although it is a vocal mic. I place it to head on the low E-string around the 15. fret to get the low frequencies. That works better with more quiet songs, where I can put the mic closer to the body of the guitar (listen to other videos of the last days...)
Then I have a pair of Rode NT55 and a AKG 3000B, that I place around the guitar plus the pickup-signal (B-Bandīs or Fishman). So I mix these 5 sources with a Roland VS2480, a little EQ and compression here and there and the great sounding reverb of it. From there the mixed signal goes into my Zoom Q3HD. The sound of this unit is ok, but despite HD the quality of the picture is poor. But thatīs it....
Many greetings from Stuttgart/Germany
Gerhard

Hi Floydlong,
thank you for your compliment.....
If you also want to play those fingferstyle songs, it needs everday practice. And depending on how long you already play, it will take maybe a couple of month or maybe 2-3 years to play those things - they do look by far more complicated, than they really are....
Many greetings
Gerhard
