Just when you thought it couldn't get any better...

The fret board and head design is first class, can't wait to see it finished.

How beautiful. Everything is pulled together so well. I like the way the neck detail follows into the backstrip. The bevel detail really stands out, too.

I know everyone is drooling over the woods & design, but what really catches my eye, is what he's done with the burl wood & dye in the rosette, headstock, & tail! That is awesome & innovative, & I could stare at it for hours! Refreshing & different! Adds color, but not so much to detract from the wood!

I visited Jonathan's workshop a few weeks ago and the dyed maple burl used on this GA shows a hint more blue in the slate blue than these pictures capture and should really pop offset by the madrose once under finish. I also really like how the neck and backstrip look together...very nice!

can't believe I missed this thread! I've definitely got my popcorn ready and waiting to see how it's going to pop under finish!

Default Looking good!!!

I really love how Jonathan is refining and dialing in his style and his headstock is becoming one of his signature elements.

Here's his take on the headstock of Razo #19--I dig how he turned the grain perpendicular to the inlay.

Yours is really looking awesome as well!

I'm looking forward to seeing yours under finish--won't be long now!

Here are some pics of her all buffed out and ready for an ebony bridge. Should be strung up in the next few days and she will have her voice!

Looks really great under finish...it won't be long now! I'm hoping to get over to Jonathan's workshop once it's strung up to see how she sounds before it ships.
