Every year Martin Guitars pull out some serious stops for their NAMM guitars, and this 2008 Winter NAMM OM-28V is no exception. If you're looking for the classic Martin OM sound, there's plenty here to go around! She's a visual knockout with gorgeous green Abalone adorning the headstock, top, and the fretboard.
A fine set of Madagascar Rosewood for the back and sides, plus Italian Alpine Spruce for the top, lend this OM-28V some smokin' trebles and a beefy middle register response. We'd recommend this kind of guitar for many styles of play, but you'll find she sings particularly well for Appalachian Folk, Blues, or any style where dry, woody tone is important. In splendid shape and nicely opened up, the previous owner took great care of this Martin: there's still a bright future of music in store for this V-necked wonder.
