Gotta be Leo and his first album - "12 String Blues" (or what was essentially the later reissue "Circle Round the Sun"), geese farts non-withstanding.

Or anything by Peter Lang - "The Thing at the Nursery Room Window", "Lycurgus", "Back to the Wall", "Testament", etc., etc.

BTW this track Surrendel blew my mind. I don't think I'll ever get it out of my head... and I don't want to. I didn't know it at the time but this song must have been one of the reasons I picked up the guitar in the first place. It was just waiting for me to find it. And now thanks to you I did!

Cheers,

P.S. The irony being that Isaac has been right in front of my face for years in the title of one of my favorites (Bensusan's dedication of L'Alchimiste). Life is weird that way...

Default Live at Luther College

Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds.

...I know that's two guitars & two vocals,

But this album has been my favorite for the last decade.

All the best,

Nathan

Great thread with lots of albums mentioned thus far that I need to either visit or revisit. For my money, I'll suggest anything that The Tallest Man On Earth has done, though my favorite of his is (probably) his latest album, "The Wild Hunt".

Oh! Or Jose Gonzalez's "Veneer". Gorgeous songs.

Oh yeah. Got many hours of enjoyment from these recordings.

Okay, that's enough. You guys just cost me a small fortune on iTunes.
That's what I love about this forum.

That's the one! It made me go out and buy a guitar, hadn't had one for 15 years. Other one I love is the 'Live at the Riverboat' album (part of the Neil Young archives)
