A different Bm chord question
I did not want to hijack muffinhead's thread about the Bm barre chord.
On previous threads I have mentioned my limited use of my fretting hand's pinkie finger. I recently found that I could play this "little" Bm version after avoiding it in practice and songs. But just last night I noticed that I have been playing it with fingers 3 and 4 reversed. My pinkie is on the D string, 4th fret. Anyone else? Is this a problem that I should attempt to correct? |

I play it the same way you play it, which makes sense to me since one can also play this shape with the D-string open (putting the 3rd in the bass -Which I thinks sounds quite good on minor chords).

If it works it works.
I had problems with it too, for a long time. It kept coming up in songs I wanted to play that used it ,so I just practiced it until I got it.
