Fender Acoustic 100/200 amps.
I've been looking at both the Fender Acoustic 100 and 200 amps. Does anyone have any experience with either of them? I'm leaning more towards the 100, but wonder if the 200 is worth the extra money.

I have not heard either, but the 200 with twice the power and twice the speaker drivers will be 6 decibels louder and throw the sound twice as far. That's a substantial difference in coverage. Neither one of them are heavy. I would go with the 200, if your budget allows. Ric

I've heard their larger and pricier relative, the Acoustic SFX, which is a superbly detailed sounding amp - much more like an AER sound than the Acoustasonics I've heard. I've not heard the Acoustic 100 or 200 yet. What do you need from your amp? Do you play gigs? If so, between the 100 and the 200, I'd definitely get the 200. Home use only? The 100 should suffice. |

Are these the new ones that recently came out? I tried the smaller one and didn't like it. I'd get a Fishman Loudbox Artist...

I WOULD be interested in how the Acoustic 100 compares to the Loudbox Mini, though. |

What didn't you like, AeroUSA?
I definitely prefer the new Fender Acoustic 100/200. Lightweight amp, with great sound, 2 xlr/jack channels, great individual effects, phantom power, BT streaming. All my guitars sound amazingly, couldn't be more happy with it. |

I agree, the new 100/200 amps from Fender are awesome! The loud box mini is great though! I did a side by side comparison with the 100. The mini was very clear, and reverb was good. The fender has more effects. Both sound great. If I was traveling around, the fishman is just smaller, and easier to travel with. It’s also louder sounding than the Fender 100. I cranked both up at guitar center. But for home use, looks, and built in effects. It’s the fender all the way. Plus you can add the mgt-4 footswitch to the fender, which adds a tuner and a lot more versatility. When I buy I’m getting the Fender with the foot switch and canvas cover. I don’t play out much and prefer what Fender is offering. My 2cents Cheers
