Check out my post above as a starting point with your SA220. If you have the vol only wheel then you probably have too much treble. That's the default voicing.

ok so you are saying cut back the highs? is it true most acoustic guitar guys cut back on the mids too?

Every pickup and guitar is different, so there is no right answer. But, in the case of the Trance Amulet, it picks up highs very well, almost too well. So cut the highs first, and then cut mids until it sounds good to you. Solo work often requires more lows than you might otherwise think.

The 2 page manual for the LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI has some good general information about settings and gain staging that also apply to amplifier settings and PA mixing boards:
