Default Best Options for a lower cost Battery/AC powered Busking Amp

Guitar and Vocals...
I've seen video's on people using Vox Mini5, Pignose Hog 20/30...and of course the Roland Amps...
I've even thought about a battery powered PA speaker... but you could run into a problem with inputs.. not enough..
$500 and less ..This is for an entry Busker that wants to sound good on a budget..
So what has people used with success...

The Roland BA-330 or the discontinued Carvin S400D come to mind as your choices in your stated budget, CASD57. I own and use both. Please feel free to ask me about the caveats of both. Ric:

I got my Roland AC-33 used, but I really like it - I do need to give it a try on batteries, though -

A large Bluetooth speaker might be an option. Here is one with an input that they claim can handle a mic.

I've used my AC-33 on it's batteries and it did a good job.

Played about 2.5 hrs and had juice leftover.

'Claim' being the operative word - looks like it only has one 1/8" input. I doubt it has a preamp that can do anything for a mic.

I wonder if a better solution would be simply to couple a good small amp (Fishman Loudbox mini, AER, Henrickson "Bud," Roland, etc) with a rechargeable battery pack -- a good one?

Makes you wonder, it doesn't seem to hard, but it starts getting bulky and heavy, but as I've said before, nothing compares to horsepower(watts) and speaker area, it's to bad that most people seem to use a car battery, which is heavy

Please do yourself a favor and check out Sunburst Gear or Elite Acoustics (same company - different divisions) for state of the art, inexpensive solutions to your situation. Here's one of many video reviews. This one is of the $349.00 M3BR8.
