By far the best fingerstyle guitarist ever in my opinion!
i just got his new dvd with the sheet music to along the way,
and his song BREAKING POINT is in this months acoustic guitar mag,'
he has 2 new tab books with cds on the way this winter,
his arrangements are like little studies for guitar, as well as being incredible songs,
i love his stuff,

I saw LJ live a few months ago. He is very good. I would put him among the 15 or 20 best fingerstyle guitarists alive today. I love his album of Beatles covers.

I have his Altered Realities CD - and I like it. Great tone on his guitar!

Now, when you say 'best 15 or 20 fingerstyle guitarists' - you're talking steel stringers, right? I wouldn't compare his playing to that of a classical guitarist.

Yep, he's amazing.

Best part of it is I can almost play every bit of Solo Flight now (only took me about two months to learn). I've got his instructional videos - I'd recommend them to anyone interested in his music.

Trey, do his videos come with transcriptions? I love that 'Liquid Amber' tune he does on the first Wood & Steel CD. Is that on one of his videos?

Yes, the videos do come with tab and standard notation.

Tape 1 (standard tuning): Maisie, Solo Flight, A Bit of George, In Your Arms, and To New Amsterdam

Tape 2 (alternate tunings): Pass The Buck, Bob's Your Uncle, Rules Of The Road, Feet On My Back Again, and Rain

yeah, he is awesome. I tabbed out all of track two on altered reality, and I am almost done with track five. His stuff is really nice because it helps me get a better feel for DADGAD.
