Default Sam Guidry Guitars: La Conner Guitar Festival Presentation

Hello all, been a while since I've posted much, so here is my latest guitar which I will be featuring at the La Conner Guitar Festival in La Conner Washington this weekend. This guitar is the latest in the style I am calling "Minimalist Deco". It features a 25-26" multiscale, Engelmann spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood Back and sides with snake wood bindings.

Wow, that snakewood certainly has some bite. Love the inlay and sound hole inner. Beautiful guitar.

I was able to meet Sam yesterday at La Conner, and saw his latest guitar up close. It is a beauty!

I really enjoyed talking with Sam about the minimalist approach as a response to the "purfling game"......you know, whoever has the most bling wins!

All I can say is that his design stood out in a room full of beautiful instruments.

It was great to meet Sam at the show and play that beautiful guitar. I love his approach and his craftsmanship. I really enjoyed hearing him demo the guitar in one of the Mini-Concerts.

What a stunning guitar!

Thanks everyone for checking in here or at the show! A brief word on laconner, great show with a lot of attendees and in a great area. It felt a lot like it was the Woodstock fest of the west coast and I predict it will gain steam as a destination festival.
