Default Saddle for Eastman E10OM (or any Eastman OM)

I want to get a Colosi saddle for an Eastman E10OM, but don't want to send mine in. I'd rather not have the downtime of not having a guitar.

Does anybody know off the top of their head which guitar type is closest to the Eastman OM? I called him, he doesn't have it saved, he just copies the one that you send him.

e.g., could I just order a Martin one, or a Collings one?

Default saddle update

Maybe it's possible to contact the instrument manufacturer/importer for a replacement part, mate it to the guitar, and send one of the saddles to the vendor of the new one? Otherwise your local friendly luthier ought to be able to cook up a replacement/duplicate of the one that's on the guitar now and you could send one of the saddles off to the Colosi folks.

I bought one off Amazon. They are a 12 radius 1/8" wide. I'll look for the link to what I bought that worked on my OM. It's not bone but it sounds good.

I actually wanted to try out West African Hard Ivory in it, but maybe I'll just stick with the bone.

If you need a replacement saddle to put in your guitar while you send yours off for a template, the one I suggested earlier will work.

Thank you VERY much membler!

I installed a UST in my guitar, and had to sand down my saddle to compensate for the height increase. I ended up sanding it too low.

I'm going to get a custom saddle based on the dimensions of that Tusq saddle.
