I thought the same thing, I have a grandson that is 3 and just loves guitar. These Parlors would make a fantastic children's guitar if they were really into learning to play. A bit on the pricey side for that, but they would hold up.

Ted that was the other surprise for me. How different each of these Rainsongs really are. I really like the different qualities of all three types of soundboards. I think the Classic is now a little underrated.

The classic may be under rated here but not in actual sales. We had a client in the store the other day looking for a CO-WS so I sat him down, surrounded him with six different models using the WS body and after about thirty minutes he ended up going home with the classic WS1000. From where I sit the classic carbon fiber top whether standard or Black Ice is still a favorite.

Below is one of my current favorites, a slightly moded BI-DR with NS neck. The added volume of the dread body really comes in handy on the beach.

Ted... My question is not about guitars, but about your picture... Is that a brown jalapeņo by the rock? It sure looks like you are haveing fun Amigo...
Sorry for the interruption guys, but it sure looks mighty peaceful sitting on the beach...(sigh)...

Great review, Steve. I'm looking forward to trying a Parlor at the soonest opportunity.
With all the discussion about the N2 neck, I'd have to say I'm pleased with mine but would love it if Rainsong offered a1-7/8" wide neck. It's what I had on my '68 Martin D-35S and have on my current Taylor NS. I'd just have more room on the fingerboard with my outlandishly big fingers. I even thought about seeing if Rainsong could put together a six string Dred, using their 12 string neck. What do you think, Ted? Not enough demand?
