I like the look from the front. It definitely looks different from the back, with the black next to the chrome. I'm sure it's mostly because I'm so used to how mine looks.
Also, I'm glad to hear that your parlor is still wood-free.  I guess ebony was referring to the color instead of the material, which seems a bit dodgy to me.

Not sure myself if it's what I want, could have gone white bone which would have been parlor period but then you have contrasting white? ebony wood and they fit flawlessly, time will tell.

So much for being dodgy they are wood ebony, they are highly waxed and polished and ebony is so fine grained but with a magnifying glass I can clearly see the wood grain. Get the humidifier out!
