On the later Models it is buried in the serial number. Can you share that? I used to have the code hope I can find it.

Below is a old post with the number system, I believe your is an 2008, see below for day in the year. Looks like end of the the year. Steve

"Not sure of the total numbers but here is the serial number decipher using my custom high gloss balck cargo as an example:

CE109014-1

CE = Cargo Electronics
1 = Gloss
09 = Year made
014 = Day of the year so January 14th
1 = How many of that guitar were made that day

Below are the finish codes:
1 Gloss
2 Road Tough
3 Tobacco
4 Snakeskin
5 Tribal
6 Custom
7 Raw"

and he said he thought it was an '09 Thanks for the good info!

"1 = How many of that guitar were made that day"

This one proved to be wrong. Pretty sure it's what number the specific guitar is for that day (otherwise, multiple guitars could have the same number).

The last number, I assume would be the number of the guitar made that day, rather than how many were made that day. Sorry for being a pedant...
Mine is GX109245-3, so third GX (or third CA?) made on September 2, 2009.

Thanks for the info. According to this my GX RAW was made in 09 and was the third guitar built that day. So, how you liking your Rainsong parlor? Loving mine!
