Default Carbon Fiber Sailboat = Carbon Fiber Guitar...who knew?

Imagine this...you are commissioned to build a 100+ foot, record-breaking sailboat...and end up with a guitar. Who would have imagined?

Carbon fiber is also a key and very critical component on every space shuttle. Seems CF is the perfect surface to lay electronics down on, so that the computer boards do not expand and contract, causing malfunctioning electronics, during space flights, as CF resists heat and cold and repels it quickly. Who knew? Yep!

Agreed! I have said it before, "if I ever needed to take a guitar scuba diving (meaning, into any guitar-hostile environment) CF would be my first choice!".

Virtually indestructible....
