Default You may get this a lot but..

I'm interested in getting a CF guitar. Recently, while on travel to Houston, I briefly tried a Black Ice WS1000 followed by just a moment with a Classic WS1000 before having to leave. I really didn't get a chance to compare though honestly they sounded very much the same.

For those that have played these, what difference is there in the tone of the Black Ice series (like the look) and the regular Classic series? This would be for .013's driving single note lead lines fairly hard. I tend to play with one foot in the jazz world and one in acoustic blues and rock.

Open to other inputs of course. Appreciate the help.

Rainsong says tonaly they are the same. I have both tops and would have to agree. The BI I think is pretty cool and breaks up the plain look of the classic. I found pictures don't due the BI justictic. Kind of 3D effect.
