Question Strings for a RainSong WS3000 (12 string)

I've just acquired a NOS 2007 WS3000 in an on-line trade/purchase with a RainSong Dealer. Since I was getting a "new" guitar with seven year old, factory installed strings, I asked the dealer to put on some new strings before shipping. They didn't have any Elixer's (12 string set) in stock, so they strung it with Darco lights (10-47). I've never been much of a Darco string fan and I'm not impressed with the tone of the guitar. The neck and action feel great but the sound is somewhat "thin" and not nearly as bold and clear as that from my $300 Seagull S12.

Do any of you have experience with different strings on a CF guitar (especially a 12 string) and any recommendations? I don't use coated strings on any of my wooden guitars as I prefer the tone of uncoated strings and don't worry about them lasting for months. I can try PB, 80-20 or even 85-15, but would like some suggestions from you that have experience with these guitars and different strings before I go through the chore of multiple restringings of a 12 string on a trial and error basis.

I use John Pearse phosphor bronze lights on my Rainsong JM3000 jumbo 12-string (set #1400L). I really like them on this guitar, but then again I use JP PBs on all my guitars.

I used Elixir lights on my Composite Acoustics 12-string. I loved the way it sounded, but it was a very different beast than the Rainsong.

Been using the same kind of Elixirs on my JM3000 that came with it. Everything else I've tried, rusts soon after I put them on - I live ten miles from the Atlantic Ocean. This guitar is quite loud with those strings.

I finally got around to restringing the RS and put on a set of Dean Markley Vintage Bronze (85-15) in ML (11-50). Wow, the guitar came alive. I'm anxious to see how it sounds when they settle down a bit, and how long they'll last.
