Default unusual sandwiches

This is kind of guitar related, because for me, there is nothing better than a sandwich and a cup of tea whilst noodling on the acoustic.
Lately I am experimenting with new flavours and I find my two favourites are
Sausage and Marmalade
Peanut Butter and Lettuce
Any other ideas for me to try ?

Man up and get some Marmite under the peanut butter !

Just a minute ,,,, sausage and marmalade ??

You are a sick man Richard. (Least I would be, if I ate that combo)!

read in my fb newsfeed this morning that they have a new bk delight called the Kuro Burger in Japan that they are test marketing. It's all black, even the cheese. Tastes like pepper, and they inject some squid ink into it too..mmmmmmm....

My wife likes peanut butter and bologna. Peanut butter and banana is a fairly popular combo as well.

I don't know if this qualifies as a new flavor, but I sometimes like a sandwich made of bread, potato chips and meat.

Bacon and peanut butter.

Peanut butter and honey.

Hamburger with an egg over easy.

Myself, I favor olive loaf on white with bread&butter pickles, colby cheese and mustard.

Any chips on the sandwich is great, potato chips, tostadas, doritos, etc

A friend of mine used to swear by peanut butter, ketchup and pickles. Never tried it myself. Based on my own experience I can recommend cream cheese and chopped dates. Also peanut butter and fresh fruit instead of jam. Blueberries or sliced fresh peach are delicious! Also cream cheese and sliced cucmbers.

Peanut butter, jelly, and marshmallow fluff is a divine combo once in a while (as long as you're not diabetic ).

Tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil, and a drizzle of olive oil is good cold, and very good as a panini.

My daughter loves banana and Nutella sandwiches too.

Some good suggestions to try there, I am going to try the Peanut butter and Bacon, Cream Cheese and Fig, and maybe the Peanut Butter and Banana ( Didn't Elvis used to fry those ? ).
I agree with the Hamburger and Egg over Easy, sounds delishhhh. I also like Potato Chips with a sandwich ( or crisps, as we call them here ) but they have to go on the side of the plate, never [I]in[I] the sandwich itself.
Jon, surely you're not serious about Peanut Butter and Marmite. And you call me sick !

Dead serious about the Marmite n PB. I guess you'd have to like Marmite in the first place.

PB can be taken either sweet or sour, probably works with marmalade or jam too, sausages,,, I'm not so sure.

Salami and cream cheese with a little lettuce and tomato. Nice crusty Itallian bread and I'm in heaven.

Maybe not that unusual though...

I do, I love Marmite. I might pluck up the bottle to try it. If I do I'll give you my verdict on it. Can't imagine it though. Thanks for the tip.

Any "Dragnet" fans here? What about a classic, Bill Gannon's Garlic Nut Butter Sandwich. Supposedly Jack Webb couldn't keep a straight face during Harry Morgan's making of this tasty morsel:

Bill's Garlic Nut-Butter Sandwich

1. Take two slices of pumpernickel bread.
2. Spread one with peanut butter.
3. Spread one with cream cheese.
4. Crush garlic cloves over the cream cheese side, allowing juice to drip into cream cheese (to taste).
5. Join slices into sandwich form, cut into quarters and enjoy!

One of my clients gave her architect (who was recovering from the flu) one of her favorite sandwiches:

Whole grain bread
Organic peanut butter
Honey
Pickles (yes, pickles!)

When she saw the surprised look on his face after the first bite, her comment was "Yes, it's the pickles that make for such a great combination."

I never tried one.
