NGD. Rainsong Vintage Parlor
Hi all…. Could not resist a great deal at a local guitar store. There last Rainsong guitar. Vintage 12 fret Parlor guitar. It had been sitting there for almost two years and most people did not know what it was. I walked to say hi to the guys and spotted it at 60% off. Don’t want to break any board rules … but so cheap that I could not resist. Plays wonderful and warm … much more than I remember other rainsongs I have owned. I guess the veneer has some sort of damping effect. No electronics which makes me happy. I can do my own with the center sound hole so easily accessible.
If you are interested in a Rainsong… I bet there are more out there at stores looking to dump these amazing guitars. Happy hunting! |

I bet that was Union Music. Hope you got a Coney Dog next door.
I played that guitar several times at Union Music. I was wondering how low they would drop the price. 60% off is fantastic. I nearly pulled the trigger on it for full retail price a few months back but ordered an Emerald X7 instead. You are right, it sounds wonderful and the wood top definitely warms up the tone. I confirmed this directly with Dave at Rainsong and with my own ears having owned a standard Rainsong model. Congratulations!
