Default how do you change machine head turners?

Hi strummers and pluckers--- can you help me?
I have 3 mandolins that have lost one or more of the turners on the machine heads.
Two are a sort of old plastic - I think, as they have a joint, and the other has bone turners, one of which is missing.
If anyone could help me with ideas and how to change or put new one/ones on, not only would I be extremely grateful but I would take my wife out for dinner!

Are you looking to replace the buttons? If so, be sure to take your wife out someplace nice -
