Default Is this rasgueado?

Which technique does Hedges use to get those rapid repeated notes on the sixth open string here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxdI...outu.be&t=1894

Your link opens at the 31:34 point in the video so I guess you mean what is happening there which is simply hammer-ons / pull-offs on the first sting.

Haha, watch his right hand please. Hedges hits the 6th open string with three fingers rapidly. Not the slurs...

O.K. I see what you are talking about. Flicking curled fingers out and manages to hit the sixth string twice. Not what I would label rasgueado though. See my link for that.

Ye, that’s why I asked. I wonder what that technique is, and I wasn’t sure if it qualifies as a rasgueado. He does it on purpose though.
