2008 Martin D-35
Stamped "175th Anniversary" 2008 standard D-35 (see Martin site for specs) with upgrades. They include professionally installed K&K Pure Mini pick-up, gold Grover 18-1 machines, new bone nut and saddle, Martin pearl inlaid pins, correctly placed and installed strap button on heel. Recent fret dressing and leveling, action adjusted (low but no fret noise or buzz unless strummed very hard, presently set up with light gauge strings as I play primarily finger style and strum moderately. Very comfortable and easy!). Overall condition is great, no scratches, cracks, just a couple very small issues which include a very small indentation between the G and B strings behind the 1st fret (original owner must have really liked playing an E Major chord!), which was filled slightly when the frets were dressed by a Martin certified guitar repair person. It cannot be felt and is almost impossible to see and in no way affects the play-ability of the instrument. Tiny screw holes next to the new Grovers on the back of the peghead which could easily be filled for cosmetic reasons if desired. I don't notice them so I never did it. A couple very small indentations on the back that do not break the finish surface. The sound is great, especially the mids and higher end due to the lighter bracing on the D-35, but good solid bass end too. I am hoping to sell to help pay for a very high end custom.
