Default If only every Guitar Shop had this type of set up...

I can't understand this guy at all but to have a Guitar, in house, with three different types of pickups installed and able to switch between them can really narrow down your choice.
All in the same guitar. This way you can try it out for yourself.

The problem with Youtube clips and the likes - is the environment, guitar, amp/PA, recorder, player, etc. etc.
But I'm sure this is a rare case. I know I haven't seen a guitar in a shop dedicated to trying different types of pickup setups in the same guitar.

These 3 are examples from LR Baggs but still worth getting an idea about the response of different types of pickups.
