Earlier this year I was incredibly lucky to travel to Santa Cruz, California and catch up with several of our luthiers, including good friend and new luthier to the TNAG roster, Stephen Strahm of Strahm Guitars. This was one interview I had been looking forward to doing for some time as Stephen and I had not seen each other for well over 2 years and had a lot to catch up on.

As with all our luthiers, it is always such an incredibly humbling experience to see them working in their own environment and creating these absolutely mind-blowing instruments.

Stephen is quite an awe-inspiring guy, he builds absolutely everything by hand, on his own and you can feel his passion from the moment you enter the doors to his fabulous shop.

Stephen Strahm OO acoustic guitar in Amazon Rosewood & German Spruce

The OO is a new model for Stephen and we are extremely excited to be the first in Europe to receive this incredible guitar. Based on the traditional short scale of 24.875", or 24-7/8", with a 12 fret body joint. Stephen's goal here is to create a different sounding instrument that will complement his EROS model
