Default LOL!

After spending time with a Strat and Blues Jr you'll never be happy with a cheap little amp having a jack on it, there are other ways to play quietly without replacing your amp. A little blues on a Jr and a Strat is musical heaven, only thing better is a Deluxe Reverb.

I would keep the Blues Jr for plugging in. For quiet times I play my Gibson MM thru a Zoom G3 into headphones. A headphone amp could also work for you, though without effects. The Zoom can also be used with the amp. Good luck in your decision.
