2013 Gibson J-45 Standard - SOLD on Reverb
2013 Gibson J-45 Standard Acoustic Guitar with original hardshell case and all case candy for sale or trade. Guitar is in very good condition, some details below.
Great sounding guitar, I played quite a few before buying this one. However, I've realized I prefer the tone of Martin guitars. -Some residue on either side of nut, smooth, seems to be under finish. Also, couple of slightly lighter/foggy spots on back of neck between the nut and 5th feet, again smooth and seemingly under the finish. Neither of these issues effect tone or playability nor are they noticeable unless you are looking for them. See the last 3 pictures (they were taken before the new nut was installed). -Some swirling in the finish from normal play, no major scratches, dings etc. -Pickguard has been replaced with a firestripe pickguard -Original tuners have been replaced with Kluson 3 on a plate repro's with white buttons -Electronics removed, this guitar is now acoustic only -Endpin jack plugged with solid ebony endpin plug by Bob Colosi -Nut, saddle and pins replaced with new bone ones from Bob Colosi, look him up, excellent reviews -New bone parts installation and setup with light strings by luthier Steve Koenke, former guitar tech at Lark Street Music in NJ. FYI, the new bone pins are unslotted and the bridge has been slotted. Asking $1500, includes Paypal & Insured Ground Shipping in CONUS only. Open to trades on smaller body Martins like the CEO-7, 00-15M Custom, OM-15M Custom, new 00-18, LAGS 00-21 Custom, OM-21 or OM-28 +/- cash.
