Any ideas on a model name for this one yet? Maybe FS-10 to stick with your model names you've already used Fingerstyle 2010.

Thanks Rac. It's just a protoype, but it did come out looking nicer than I had considered.

As for a name... I'm still befuddled. I'm sure it will come to me...........I hope.

That's a great picture. Save for the red it looks like it could be Wenge.

I'm going to cast a vote for this to be the NK model - Not Kindling.

How about "Phoenix FS"? (FingerStyle)

Phoenix quote excerpt from Wikepedia:

"A phoenix is a mythical bird It has a 500 to 1000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. It is said that the bird's cry is that of a beautiful song."

If it makes your high standards it it will have arisen from the ashes to make a beautiful song.

Anyway, that's my humble contribution after a "brain drained" day ...

How about FS17, assuming this is the last prototype and the new model is resultant from it. Then, if anyone asks about the significance of the name they will be pleased to hear of all of your work to create it.

Just come up with a number or set of letters.

...and let it be a mystery. They'll be posting and cussin' and discussin' for generations.

...Just like "old number 7" which nobody knows what it really means!!!

...or like the "CV bracing" thread going on now!

Seriously, I like "Not Kindling" too!!

Phil

Ironically enough "Phoenix Grand Concert" was on my list of about 5 different ones I've got here. I've been making a list for some time now, and I've been adding and taking away from it narrowing down my choices.

Other ones like "Decade Grand Concert" Or "Opus Grand Concert" and "I give up already Grand Concert" are still hanging around too... who knows...

I'm afraid I couldn't vote for Opus anything... one of my favorite characters, which is why it "flavors" everything from wine to guitars using Opus as part of their name... !!!

Hey if you hyphenate give-up in the "I give-up already Grand Concert" then you could rip off Apple (since they're making your jigs anyways) and christen it the iGAG
