Tom, great question! This guitar has inlays at only the 5th, 7th, and 9th frets. When John built this guitar, he selected these as a beautiful compliment to the inlays on the headstock and first fret. They are exclusive to this guitar and will never be used again.

This photo gives you a better look at the positioning.

Wish I had the funds to try this one out!

Such a killer guitar at an awesome price for an axe of this quality.

Thank you! I also wish you had the funds . Fact is, there are several "circling" this one. I had intended to post a video of this one, and still will possibly this weekend if it doesn't sell before. Time will tell...

Here are a couple of pictures I took at my business a few days ago. I thought the guitar looked pretty cool leaning against this chair. Then I laid it on the table in my small conference room and caught another nice picture of the back. This guitar is really sweet.

This is what makes bearclaw so cool...eye candy deluxe
The beauty of bearclaw is hard to capture in photos. They are really much much prettier in person.

I promised myself never to buy another expensive guitar since I haven't been playing much lately, but this is one of the few that makes me want to break it.

where might this beauty be living?

I love the look but I'd have to try it out first.

You are one of a growing population of people thinking hard about this guitar.

Rye, this guitar may very well be calling your name also!

This guitar is in a location in Mid Missouri close to Springfield. Playing it is an option by appointment...until it is sold. Look fast because this one won't last much longer...IF you come to play it, bring your check book because I assure you you'll want to use it

All of us left in the wake of this fabulous guitar that wished we could swing it should get together for a beverage to commiserate. Sorry you had to sell it ... hearty congrats to the new owner. As Paul mentioned it boggles the mind to ponder what might get listed next.

Congrats on your sale Woody! And congrats to the new owner (lucky slob)!

Now I'm in for the drink. I think Paul should eat the bug anyway!
