Default Do you know this song?

I stumbled across this guitar review and really like to tune that is being played so I am wondering if anyone knows the name of the tune.

To me it sounds a little bit like Wildwood Flower.

And finding this Tom Paxton has lead me to this video. At 11:38 he talks about his MArtin as well as is old favorite guitar. Very interesting story about his D28S..

Hadn't seen or heard that song before. It's fun to sing, and easy to play.

It bears a resemblance to this song, written in 1971 by Eric Bogle, Titled: And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. It was a song he dedicated to all who fought in the Battle of Gallipoli in 1915, from an Australian perspective.

Great song! I like the version by June Tabor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEMcLcGJ79s (no guitar, sorry...)

Last Thing On My Mind was written in 1964, btw (if not earlier).

The Kentucky Colonels did a nice version as well... The White brothers. That's where I learned it.
