Default help transcribe - green green

Hello,

Im learning to play and would like to play "Green green" Trini Lopez version.
Please help me with a transcription.

So far I have this tab of another version: http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/m/mi..._green_crd.htm

But I would like to get tabs for this version from Trini Lopez:

Should be fairly simple but I cant get the intro right and I seem to be missing a chord somewhere.

The intro is this:

The chords are C-F-C, and the riff repeats a couple of times before ending on a G7 chord. Like this:

When the bass comes in, it doubles the guitar riff (end of first line above), landing on E on the first C chord, which makes it sound a little unusual.

The first verse continues in C, but then it modulates to D for the chorus, and stays in D for the rest of the song:

CHORUS

Chorus (as above)

The A riff in the chorus (only on the bass) is the same as the intro riff, a whole step up, landing on F# on the next D chord.
(Ie, the slash notes are in the bass, not the guitar, although you can play them on guitar if you want.)

Ok I think I got the first part right:

Well(C), I told my (Em)mama on the (F) day I was (C) born (F) dont you cry

After this I cannot get the G - C - G to work.

Sorry but im really new at this.
Also if I look at the video it seem that the cords are played higher (3 rd or 5 the fret?)
