Default Figured mahogany/sapele (no "Tree" allowed)

Recently we have had several threads about "The Tree" so I thought I'd start another thread about non-Tree pretty mahoganies/sapeles.

I don't have much to share (other than photos of my SCGC) but I'd be curious to see/hear what you consider to be your favourite figured mahogany/sapele.

Oh, well I'm glad you asked! He he. I really like the unusual figure in my (only) mahogany guitar. There was also a nice Sexauer Kerala in sapele at Schoenberg that I really liked, but there aren't any photos.

That is ridiculously pretty. The colour is so rich. Love the semi blended in backstrip as well.

This is my Curly Mahogany Goodall Concert Jumbo Cutaway. It's paired with an Italian Spruce top.

Good stuff - keep 'em coming! My mahogany guitar isn't much in the looks department but I like the way it sounds.

Crazy consistence for such a large guitar. Wow...

Nice headstock, too (although I think that picture disappeared...).

Here is Leach Voyage Air I built a few years ago, original owner didn't like it because the wood was too figured.... no lie!!! Jay Howlett now is it's current keeper.

Just for fun, this is the inlay I added to cover up the name of the guy who originally ordered it..

I remember seeing this guitar and checking my bank account -- but it was already too late, Jay had grabbed it...
