Default Recommendations for a Budget Crossover?

Hey everyone. I've been looking to get a nylon string guitar and I'm have trouble finding many options in the sub $700 price range. 1-7/8" nut width is ideal and I would love a cutaway. Any suggestions?

Yamaha NTX 700. Less than $ 500. very nice unplugged, superb plugged in.
Cordoba GK Studio, less than $ 600. Superb unplugged, very nice plugged in. It has a wider neck, though.

What gerardo1000 said. I think Cordoba also has some guitars in its Fusion line that fit your budget.

Agreed. The Fusion's list price is closer to a Taylor NS-24, but it seems to be discounted rather deeply in some places. Mine was, and it's a very nice guitar for that kind of money. Playing before you buy is advised, though, as Cordoba seems to have some consistency problems in their lower-priced models right now.

Yes.

If you can't play before you buy, then go with Yamaha. Yamaha has the best consistency. There are no absolute guarantees, but you have better odds.

Another vote for the Yamaha NTX.
