Default Big improvement using GHS La Classique on my NS-72

My NS-72ce from Guitar Rodeo arrived last week. It sounded good but had that weak 3rd string. Anyway tonight I changed strings to some GHS La Classique High Tensions I had in the house. These have a wound 3rd string and it sounds and feels a lot better. The strings in general sound better than the ones that came from the factory, too. I think they're D'Addario Pro Artes, aren't they? Maybe they were coated, I don't know, but these GHS La Classiques make the guitar sound how I'd really hoped it would sound when it arrived last week! I recommend them.

I didn't know the GHS La Classiques came with a wound 3rd, thanks for the info. I prefer wound thirds. Now if only they came with carbon trebles for the 1st and 2nd

I think not all of the La Classique series come with the wound 3rd, but if you have a look at what they have on juststrings.com, the ones with the wound 3rd are clearly marked.
