Pretty amazing.

Snell makes great stuff. A local Starpower has had a pair of Snell reference towers for a few years, $32K. The interesting thing is they pitch that they are made out of an endangered wood, there is a premium over the standard price.

The endangered wood...Brazilian Rosewood. These puppies are about 7' tall and at least 24" deep. Depending on the thickness, it had crossed my mind that these two speaker cabinets might produce enough wood for 6-8 guitars each. There might be a business proposition there if you get the speakers at the right price, sell the Brazilian and have new cabinet made?

I love uber home theaters. I consider myself fortunate with my little 7.3 $25K system, but there are folks in the Dallas Metroplex with seven figure theaters, never heard of a $6M one though, thats impressive. Sure would like to hear it!

Thanks for posting! Got popcorn?

Years ago, my family was in the high-end audio business. I recall going to the Consumer Electronics Show in Chicago back in the late 70's / early 80's when Peter Snell was still alive. Even back then, the Snell speakers were impressive.

Glad to see the tradition carries on!

WOW! I wonder if there is a way to hook a guitar into the sound system?

Sure! Just get a small mixer like a Mackie or Behringer and hook that into the AUX input of the main input feed, plug in your acoustic guitar and Voila! You're plugged in! Watch out for feedback though!

Anyone ever heard of microphonics? As in subs slapping those Macintosh tubes around? Harrumph...

Surprised he didn't gold-plate his dog...
