Thanks for the nice welcome!
I find it difficult to put this guitar down after playing it for a long time. I primarily play electric guitars and recently sold an Eastman acoustic/electric jazz box in order to acquire this beauty. I am not the least regretful or disappointed with my decision. I switched out the stock strings for a pair of D'addario Folk Nylons and the extra tension really helped the lows pop out. Then I saw in another post a link to these John Pearse Strings: http://www.juststrings.com/jps-tho.html They look interesting! I think I'm going to give them a try. |

Great guitar! I have been vascilating between the NS32/NS34. Would love to test them both at the same location, but have not seen either one in a store, much less, both of them.
Anyway, congrats and hopes for many years of enjoyable playing... JackL |

I've only had it plugged in once, directly into a PA. It sounded the same plugged in. I need to run it through and amp and really check it out before I can comment any further.

Welcome to the AGF and congratulations on the new guitar. I had a NS32CE several years ago. It was a very nice guitar. Hope you will enjoy your new guitar.

I was really looking forward to the high tension Pro Arte strings listed in the specs for the NS32CE. But the strings that came with it, oddly, did not feel like high tension strings. I noticed a big difference after I slapped on the Folk Nylons. However, I'm looking forward to slapping on a set of the John Pearse strings. |

Congrats on the new guitar. I just sold my NS32ce 2 weeks ago; couldn't help but read this thread. Those are fine instruments..

It's been over 3 weeks since I've had this baby and I gotta say it's one of the best guitar purchases I've
ever made! It's so inviting and such a joy to play. Nylon string guitars are such a pleasure. I find I've been playing it much more than my electric guitar. I recently shared with my drummer how much I'm really loving this guitar and he said: "Hey now, don't get all soft on us!" |
