Default Need a resource to setup my G-Major for Classic Rock sounds

I have a TC Electronics G Major (I play an Am. Stat into a Marshall Tube combo - G Major in the loop). It's great, but I don't have the time/patience/whatever to harness it's capabilities. Playing guitar in a classic rock cover band, there's some signature sounds I'd like to emulate... The Edge, Jimi, Eddie, you get the picture.

Isn't there a resource out there that will give you the basics for setting up these sounds? It doesn't need to be perfect by any means. Let's face it, when you're playing live - nobody will really know the difference. But I can't start from scratch... any thoughts?
