Default En Gee Day -- Blackbird Rider

I finally have a Blackbird Rider steel-string coming my way after a long period of lusting. Feeling quite fortunate.

Can't wait, but I guess I'll have to!

Tick tick tick tick....

Well I guess I jumped the gun a little bit -- it's not actually a NGD day yet. I'll certainly report back when I get it though. Anyone else have, or played, the BBR?

Well it finally arrived this afternoon and it's everything it was supposed to be. Great sound, surprising bass for such a small body, rich ringy tone, great all the way up the neck, set-up really well by MacNichol Guitars, and just a beauty to look at too. A heavy-duty very well-fitting case, and packed for shipping really well. It has the Mi-Si pickup but I haven't been able to plug it in yet; I'll post a few more comments on that when I can. I don't know how much I'll take it traveling -- it's too pretty! My other guitars might not be getting much attention for a while...

Cool, nice buy! I have played a few and I think they play and sound great.
