Default Is it a holiday?

I’m going on holiday next week. It’ll be crazy awesome. My family and I are going to Barcelona. I’m not taking my guitar. No no, it’ll be fine. There will be lots of great stuff to do. There will.

…you know, I think I like playing the guitar more than just about anything… maybe even you-know-what*… Is it wrong to NOT be looking forward to an exotic foreign holiday because it entails a guitar-less week?

You'll be able to step aside from the playing and enjoy doing some listening to the full variety of Barcelona street players.

It's good.

They might have one or two guitars in Spain.

I last about 3 days without a guitar before I"m looking for a fix.

Music stores, sidewalk buskers, open mics, bar bands - these are the various ways I've been able to play guitar while traveling without my own.

Since I bought the VOyage-Air, that problem is almost eliminated.

Good luck and have a blast!

Just an observation, but I don't think you must be "assembling your flat packed furniture" right.....

While it is a great thing to be really motivated about playing guitar, I personally (this does not need to be anyone else's viewpoint), there are aspects of life that the "Is it wrong..." question would be applied, and others where it just doesn't have any place. Murder, infidelity, those are the types of things that "Is it wrong..." would apply (in my personal opinion), while whether to not play guitar for a week would not be such a situation.

So, go ahead and enjoy your vacation with a clear conscience.
