Default Playing Mississippi John Hurt's Guitar - Guild F-30. Yes... it's the real McCoy!!

I was on tour in Denver a couple of years ago and visited Harry Tuft's Denver Folklore Center. Here's a video of me playing one of the five guitars that were once owned by the late Mississippi John Hurt.

Yup, Harry likes to bring that one up in conversation a lot, great guitar shop on south pearl street, next time you're in town visit the olde town pickin parlor just north of the city... And of course send me a message, I'd love to hear you live! Great video, thanks!

just think, some day someone might be selling a guitar and saying, "this one was once owned by Toby Walker"!

The one I would love to get my hands on is Curley Weaver's Kay Kraft which gets trotted out at local blues fests.

That is too cool! I heard some of his music on XM a few weeks ago, and that F30 sounded really sweet with him playing it. They have a pretty distinctive voice - my first thought before I looked to see what song was playing was "that sounds like my Guild". Nice picking, too.
