I drove nothing but American muscle cars. Then they all turned to garbage.
In the early 90's I discovered Volvos and that's all I've driven since. So darn reliable and incredibly serviceable.

The front bumper on that "Oldsmobile?) and just about all the panels are about 1/2" out of true.
I hired an Oldsmobile once - from DFW . It made it to Waco before breaking down. The British/European Ford Granada looked nothing like the advert above. Came with a choice of about three engines. All made in Germany and pretty much liked. The later Granada Scorpios were years ahead of their time - I had three - loved them. All gone now because the bodies were strong, and the 3l V-6 engines were loved by the stock car fraternity.
