Pedro Martín Ureta's Forest Guitar
Guitar made of trees, dedicated to a man's lost love. The caption reads: "Breaking up the flat agricultural areas of Argentina’s Pampas is a guitar formed entirely out of trees. Stretching for 2/3 of a mile, the multi-colored instrument was created by one Argentine farmer to memorialize his wife who tragically died at the age of 25." Here's a link to the story. http://www.atlasobscura.com/places/g...eid=a3382b0e1b

Quite the memorial to a lost love. That took a lot of work.
Of course it doesn't matter that he used cypress and eucalyptus trees, but it would've been neat (from a guitar nerd perspective) if he would've used spruce/cedar for the body shape and a rosewood species for the neck, assuming those species can grow in his region.

What a beautiful memorial. And a touching story. At 25? Wow.
