Default Dancing Queen (ABBA) Fingerstyle tryout... :-)

Hi folks, this is only a fun tryout project :-) I improvised and recorded a version of the ABBA classic Dancing Queen for fingerstyle guitar. This song is probably not designed to be performed with an acoustic solo guitar - but I felt the need to give it a try anyway. I definitely had a lot of fun and hope you enjoy it too.

Greetings, Jimmy

Jimmy it’s fantastic.

Your touch is as always so fine. The timing and cadence of this arrangement is what makes it.

Well done - I really enjoyed listening.

Wow! Nice rendition! That's some accomplished playing there!
Surprised to see a Fender acoustic....

Many thanks for your kind feedback! That makes me smile :-) Yes, I'm in love with my Fender. One of the best acoustic guitars for a good price. Never played a better one in this price segment. (399,- Dollar)

Greetings, Jimmy

Wow, definitely a good price. As far as I know, Fender is not known for excellence in acoustics. You sure make it sound good!

Yes you are right. Fender is not Martin. But the price is also different. I've played a lot of guitars that were significantly more expensive than the Fenders and didn't sound as good. In addition, it is extremely easy to play. A friend of mine had this model and I played on it and was thrilled. Then I bought one too. I probably would never have bought a Fender acoustic otherwise. Now I'm very happy to have done it.

Greetings, Jimmy

Lovely arrangement and playing! Quite enjoyed that.

I have to ask though what is the reasoning behind the two missing strings?

Thanks for your kind feedback! It's difficult to see due to the lighting conditions - but there are no missing strings. Look again in full screen mode and you will be able to see them :-)

Ah looked closer and could now clearly see. I had wondered how you were getting the trebles without having treble strings

Teaches me for looking with my phone on small video.

Cool. Glad that you checked that I also use 6 strings ;-)

Thanks and greetings, Jimmy
