Default SOLD..........Goodall Grand Concert > Koa

*Sold and off to beautiful Canada.

Offered is a lovely James Goodall Grand Concert.
Made in 1994.
The woods are Koa & Sitka with Maple binding and a Macassar Ebony Head stock overlay.
This Goodall has the early Goodall designed bridge and the more Honey Colored Koa with excellent figuring.
The Nut width is 1 3/4.
The guitar has an impressive sound..
This Koa and Sitka combination offers a Lowden type of sensitivity, whereby the lightest touch is translated musically.

This beautiful 20 year old Goodall is in Excellent condition but it does have some honest 20 years player's wear in the finish, including small dings and marks.
Do to the light color of the guitar, the marks are not obvious but they are there.
No chips, nothing into the wood, and no finish checking.
The neck is arrow straight, the action is perfect with plenty of saddle.

This is a very nice Goodall.

Beautiful Koa & Silky Sitka
Macassar Ebony Headstock
Maple binding
Ebony Fretboard & Bridge.
1 3/4 Nut, Standard early Goodall Neck carve.
Polished Bone nut and saddle.
Non-Cutaway
Mahogany neck
Multicolored Paua rosette
Chrome Schaller Tuners w/ Ebony buttons
Hard shell case.

PM me here if interested.

Beautiful... why do I have to be on vacation far away from home when a Goodall as well priced as this one makes its appearance?!

I had one almost identical to this one only with a Koa headstock. Traded it away about 10 years ago and I still regret doing so. These have a larger sound than most would expect from a Grand Concert. I have another exceptional Goodall that I'll never let go due to learning a lesson when I let that GC go. *** Crazy good price.*** Buy it before a dealer beats you to it.

yes, i also love the Goodall sound & vibe.
I think this particular combination of woods really works well, as you get the power and the dynamics of the Sitka<>Koa combination, but you also get the Goodall resonance and sustain.
Its a really fine instrument, and the price is excellent, Yes !
Its a beautiful guitar that is going to make someone really happy.

I really like the sound that James Goodall is able to coax out of a Sitka & Koa guitar.
Very full and lush, surprisingly so.
