Eric Skye, Mark Hanson, and Scott Kritzer in Portland October 11
Plans are in the works to take this show on the road in 2015, but if anyone happens to be in town or traveling through next month, check out the debut in a wonderful listening room in beautiful SE Portland Oregon.
Mark Hanson won a Grammy in 2005 for his contributions to the "Henry Mancini - Pink Guitar" album. He has shared the stage with Tommy Emmanuel, John Renbourn, and the late Jerry Garcia. Mark played for the President of the United States in 2009. Mark has written over two dozen titles on playing guitar, including the best-selling Art of Contemporary Travis Picking. His numerous recordings continue to play on NPR and Martha Stewart Living, even on American Idol! And in the late '80s, he was an editor/columnist at Frets magazine. Scott Kritzer is a truly masterful classical guitarist. After his debut at Carnegie Hall, the New York Times described Scott as “intelligent and self-assured…with a sure technique and a musical sensitivity, he created an inner life in his playing, a thinking and caring musician.” He has two decades of accolades from audiences and critics alike, in concert halls in San Francisco, Frankfurt, Vancouver, B.C., Los Angeles, Sapporo, Washington, D.C., Munich, and New York. He has been featured in Japan’s Guitar Magazine, London’s Classical Guitar Magazine and Guitar International as well as in Soundboard Magazine of the Guitar Foundation of America and Guitar Player Magazine in the United States. |

Had a wonderful rehearsal this morning in my livingroom with those two incredable players. Expresso was flowing quite a bit Gonna be a great show.
I think that is very very possible. Scott is being super pro-active about marketing this thing this year. He's a real go-getter. So hopefully we'll get back there soon. If anyone has any recommendations for venues I can put you in touch with him. |
