I know what the response is going to be to this one, but I really can't think of another Taylor that I'd like to add to my collection.

I'm not in denial. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not!

Seriously, if I won the lottery, I could see adding something really special, like one of the fancier ideas that I couldn't afford at Taylorstock. Then again, with that kind of money I'd probably be visiting Kathy Wingert's shop instead.

If I were a little flush, I could see replacing my EM9 with a 414, aka the "Taylor Sleeper." Of course, a TGF guitar would be cool, and if it's cheap enough, I might spring for it regardless. But as things stand, I'm cool. I imagine TAS, GAS (other guitars, BAS (bouzouki), or HDAS (hammered dulcimer) will flare up again some day, but right now they're in remission.

Well by gosh, I'll certainly answer this one. Vain or not! Here it is:
W14cES, cedar top, no pickguard.

Yup, that's it. I believe that one, along with my '96 410 would hold me over for a little while.

Thanks. Do I win?

Default dreams are seeds...

My dream Taylor is similar to my style of play...."simple"

615 ce with florentine cutaway (no holes in body)...celtic inlay....three piece back of hand selected big leaf maple...just a copy of my 612-c"cotten" on steroids....it'll happen.

914c - 2k appointments
814e
810e
714ce - cedar top
654ce
K14c - cedar top, just like jira's...maybe slight appointment changes, but overall about the same. That guitar is about is beautiful as you can get.
ps10 - brazillian

All e's are ES of course. The 8's and 7's would be mostly my live guitars, the 9 and the K would be mostly for studio, and well, the ps would just be for fun

DDSM in natural with just a hint of amber stain in a burst on the top. Small rose inlays on the board.

All mahogany Big Baby to keep at my office.

I'm thinking of something along these lines:

912CE/ES
Florentine
Gothic Inlay
Ziricote Back and Sides
Redwood top

oh, and TaylorStock II!!!

I want a 910BCes, Florentine cutaway, with a fretboard inlay of my own design. And I will get one after I've sold my first million CD's, which haven't even been recorded yet. Maybe if I market it right, I can get enough pre-orders to buy the guitar first and then do the recording with it. Any takers?

I've always wanted a 355. Will I ever get one? I dunno. My house is sorta cramped right now and I don't have room for one . I'm also really eager to try out the ES on the 914s.
