SOLD - Breedlove 10th Anniversary Flamed Myrtlewood C25 Mint! $1995.00 Shipped
I'm putting this beauty back on sale as I've returned home to Oregon after extensive travelling.
$xxxx including shipping! Drop-Dead Mint, 10th Anniversary Limited-Edition Breedlove C25/MY. Completed in 2001 to commemorate Breedlove’s 10th anniversary, it was #5 in a series of only 10 made. Intensely flamed Myrtlewood back and sides (I've never seen another piece like it) perfectly complement both visually and tonally the master-grade Western Red Cedar top. Not a ding, scratch, mark or any other signs of wear anywhere - not even any signs of fret-wear on this 16 year-old instrument! This one looks as if it’s spent its life in a time-capsule, folks! The set-up, action and intonation are just as flawless as the cosmetics - as close to perfect as I’ve experienced - and the Cedar over Myrtlewood tone is sublime. The guitar has the original, factory-installed Fishman Acoustic Matrix Natural NT1 pickup and comes with its original and very high quality Breedlove hard case. The serial # is 3221 and both Kim Breedlove and Steve Henderson have initialed the label. Beautiful, 12th fret MOP inlay of a hand holding the number 10 in the shape of a guitar pick to symbolize the anniversary. Asking price is xxxx including all fees for shipping & insurance. (CONUS only please) Last edited by dogdog49; 05-28-2017 at 05:20 PM. Reason: Sold |

The inlay is of a hand holding the number 10 in the shape of a guitar pick between the thumb and index finger to symbolize the anniversary. Thanks for asking, I just updated the listing with this info.

Great looking guitar. Reminds me of the northwest classic. Where is the guitar located ?

The guitar is located in Fairfield, Iowa. I'm living here now but spend half my time in Oregon not too far from the Breedlove factory. I've had the opportunity to play a couple of Northwest Classics, both with spruce tops (I believe that's standard for that model) and I feel the Cedar top is a better match tonally with the Myrtlewood back and sides. Myrtlewood sounds a bit like Koa to me but a tad more complex, and the Cedar brings out an extra layer of warmth. I definitely prefer it to the Northwest, your mileage, of course, may vary depending on your tastes.
