Default SOLD - 1986 Sergei De Jonge Classical Guitar w/ Brazilian back, sides, neck

The high bidder on the auction was no longer able to purchase, so it is back up on eBay. I'm offering the guitar for sale here as well, for [SOLD] shipping (paypal no fee, regular add 3%) until the auction receives a bid. Original ad below. Any questions please let me know. Thanks!

---

Hi everyone,

I had this guitar listed previously along with a few other guitars, but I've dropped my asking price significantly and am in need of selling, so I am listing this again separately with what I find to be a really great price.

The guitar shows a lot of playwear on the top as you can see from the photos, and there is some fret wear. Outside of this the guitar is in excellent condition considering its age.

A lovely set of Brazilian rosewood on this guitar, and most unusually the neck also is made from Brazilian rosewood.

The guitar plays well and sounds beautifully as is, but some may think it could use some set up work.

Asking [SOLD], paypal no fee, with the option of regular paypal for an additional 3%. Shipping would be included to continental US. I've been on eBay for a very long time and also recently made a sale on AGF for which I should be able to provide a reference.

More pictures here.

Thanks for looking, please let me know if you have any questions!

Beautiful! Scale length and nut width would be helpful.

Bump! Hard to find Brazilian like this, especially with a full neck made of it!

The guitar's been listed on eBay, and now has bids. Figured I'd let people know in case they have been watching this listing. Thank you!

Good luck with it. I can't help thinking you'll do quite well with a maker like this and Brazilian RW. I'd have been very interested, but hand problems pretty much rule out 650-scale guitars for me.

The winner of the auction was not able to purchase the guitar, and so the guitar is for sale again!

There's been a lot of interest and questions about this guitar, so I made a video in hopes that it would illustrate the playing shape it's in. I'll make the usual excuses for my playing ability, but my personal opinion is that the guitar has a great voice, crisp, and is even in all the registers. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjUoYHW5vD8

As always, any questions at all please let me know.
