Well......still nothing.

I'm thinking of taking the Gibson back and walking from the trade.

What's the reason the local shop is giving?

I just saw 2 of these at the local GC ( pink and blue). Very nice build and cool looking. I am glad they are building these again. -- Darwin

Their not really saying, they have received a Fender shipment since making the deal and the Tele was to be in that shipment....it wasn't.
I honestly think they never had any intention of bringing in a PPT until I showed up with my Songwriter. I wouldn't be surprised if they already have my Songwriter pre-sold. Going in tomorrow to figure things out.

Crap happens - tell the parties concerned that there's been a "new addition to the family" and you need to get back now...

I'm hoping I can make it back in time before the shop closes. It'll be close baring any travel delays.

So I did make it back in time......but I ended up sticking to my normal routine of taking the PPT to my Luthier for setup and once over.

Should have it from him soon .

Should have it back this week. If I can be patient and wait my Luthier will do a full set up and once over for dirt cheap. If I want it faster I pay full price.

patient.

A bassist I played with had one of the original paisley Fender "Tele" basses until he got into a YES and the Eagles mood and traded it for a Rick 4001. I liked the Rick better anyway...
