Default Charmed Life Picks Again

Around the same time that I ordered a pick from EML, I ordered a 1.75 "N" series pick from Charmed Life. It came today. I was surprised when I opened the package and saw not one but two picks there. Scott enclosed a note saying that one of them was a 1.55 "blem" and that it was mine for free.

I've been holding a pick badly now for 50+ years and am not likely to change at this point, and the grip holes make a big difference for me. Both of these picks sound magnificent, very close to TS, and I have not felt them slipping once in a couple of hours of playing. They're superb.

The service was beyond compare. I'll be buying many more.

Could you enlarge that picture just a bit? I can’t quite make out individual molecules.

My first time to use Imgur. At least I managed to get the picture up.

Kyle, love it! Actually, I want a super closeup so I can see the electrons and protons kicking around.

Oxygen, thanks for your post. We REALLY hate holding people's money for more than two weeks. I like to surprise folks with a free blem when they think I might have run off to Mexico with their cash. We love what we do, and this is a reflection.

Thanks again for taking the time to post.

Be Well,
Scott

Scott does great business and makes amazing picks folks. I'm proud to be his friend (even if we are competitors ).

Still liking the 3.5mm Flame from Charmed Life.

Here is a backlit shot after applying new bevels.

The Red is also nice but not as attractive as Flame.

Its funny that the two hottest things in picks are 21st century space age engineering plastics and a plastic developed in the 19th century, Casein, also know by its original trade name, Alladinite.

Jerry, no. Anyone who knows me knows I HATE holding on to someone's money for more than two weeks; it really bothers me. Oxygen had been so patient with us that I sent him a blem as a way of apologizing. I can't always afford to do that, but I think our order turn-around sucks.

you heard it from me,

Scott, it was well worth the wait, and I appreciate the extra pick. I'll be ordering others. You're a class act all the way.

Best, Steve

Oxy, thanks again. I just did it cuz it was the right thing to do.

You know, in this age of internet sellers, which I love overall, we've lost the art of customer service. Everything is depersonalized, even disembodied; and I've been at the receiving end, as we all have, of some of the most abhorrent treatment by various companies. So, in keeping with the Golden Rule, I just want to treat people the way I myself want to be treated. That's all.

Thanks again for the kind words in your post. There are a lot of things to be grateful for in my life, but none more than the hundreds of new friends I've made through Charmed Life products. That's the true blessing for me and Rhonda.

talk soon,
scott

I received this Scott beauty 2 weeks ago. I am so glad i ordered this model!

This one is HIGHLY Recommended! Especially for fast genres.

It has a smooth yet slippery string strike yet still sounds warm.
I am so glad i ordered this material.
A lot of plastic polymers this size and this pointy have a bright, along with some click, sound.

But not this one.

I still use BC vespral - Mick's and Wolfham picks too - they're tremendous. But this one is on another level for fast delivery while not sounding too bright. Thanks Scott!

I have a .90mm tortoise shell CL pick that I bought a few weeks ago and really enjoy the difference it makes when it makes contact with the strings. It dulls all the unwanted noises and brings out the notes like they are supposed to sound, at least to my ears. The nuances are all positive. I took nail file and gave a slightly beveled edge to it, and added a touch of sharpness to the tip, and it worked out great. I really like it.

I've been meaning to post a pic and give a quick shout out to Scott for his excellent CS, and superb picks. Here lately I have been busier than a one legged man in a fanny kicking contest and haven't been around much since I acquired my CL pick, so I am glad to finally get in here and give a high recommendation to this company. Two thumbs up! Oh, and the pick even looks awesome! Thanks Scott!
